The present invention relates to an octopus capturing trap, wherein a connection hole mounting unit (20) is prepared at the front end of a body (10) so that the hanging and separation of the connection hole mounting unit (20) on and from branch lines installed on a main line at particular intervals can be mechanized. The body (10) consists of a first body (11) and a second body (12). The connection hole mounting unit (20) and a circular cone-shaped front end body unit (14) with cut front end are formed on the front end of the first body (11). An entrance (16) is formed in an opposite direction of gravity in the front end body unit (14) so that an internal space (18) is connected with the outside. A settling projection (30) is formed to protrude on one side outer surface of the body (10). A weight space (36) is formed in the internal space (18) corresponding to the settling projection (30). A weight body (37) is installed in the weight space (36) so that the centroid of the overall octopus capturing trap is lowered and the octopus capturing trap is settled on the bottom surface of the settling projection (30) on the floor in the sea. Multiple hanging ribs (40) are formed to wrap the entrance edge of the weight space (36) so that the weight body (37) is prevented from being discharged from the weight space (36). A connection hole (42) and a rear end ring line hole (44) are formed in the rear surface of the body (10) so that water in the internal space (18) cooperates with the entrance (16) in order to be easily moved in and out. |
