The present invention relates to a system and a method for constructing an item pool. The present invention includes an item pool constructing apparatus which collects information distributed on-line through a communications network or previously stored document information, classifies the information according to types, extracts terms by analyzing the information classified according to the types, and constructs the item pool by extracting a content word based on the extracted terms; and a market information obtaining device which searches and obtains the market information of the items registered in the item pool using news information among the collected information, and registers the obtained market information in the item pool. |
