The present invention provides a power transformation device, in which control units (430, 730) control the power transformation units of an inverter (450) and an automatic voltage adjustment unit (790) to supply AC power to a load in case an external power is in an abnormal state. The power transformation device including an emergency switchover circuit includes a driving signal generation unit (530) for a pulse transformer (T1) which, in addition to coil N1 used as power to operate a switching power controller (U1) at the secondary side of the pulse transformer (T1) of a switching power (SMPS), induces a pulse voltage having the same frequency with the pulse of the primary side at coil N2 and N3 at the secondary side; and an abnormal signal detection unit (540) which is operated by a switching control signal input terminal to receive an abnormality signal from the control units and a switching control signal. When the control units of the power transformation device malfunction, light receiving transistors (terminal 3 and 4 of PC1), which work as switches for the abnormal signal detection unit (540), are turned off (open) and the switching power (SMPS) (520) is activated to induce a pulse to the driving signal generation unit (530). By doing so, a driving pulse is provided to the gates of bidirectional SCR switches (510) (710). |
