The present invention provides an electronic device for verifying quality of a hardware by driving a function of the hardware itself in the electronic device excluding a software by a test driving condition of driving the hardware with a load higher than that of a normal driving condition, and a control method thereof. The electronic device of the present invention includes at least one device part for performing a function which can be provided by the electronic device; a storage part for storing a test driving condition making the device part to be driven with a load higher than that of the normal driving condition in correspondence to each device part; and a control part which makes the device part be driven by the test driving condition, and judges quality of the device part on the basis of the driving result. Thus, it can be judged whether the electronic device can supply its function to a user properly, by verifying the quality of the hardware by driving the function of the hardware itself in the electronic device except the software by the test driving condition of driving the hardware with the load higher than that of the normal driving condition. Thus, the user can use the electronic device more stably, and a producer can find a problem of components and a problem according to the combination thereof. |
