<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition using a pigment, wherein the aqueous ink composition is directly printed not only to an absorbent substrate, such as paper but also to a nonabsorbent substrate by adding a water-soluble solvent having good erosion performance for the nonabsorbent substrate and achieves durability of printed matter superior to that of printed matter printed with solvent ink. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition uses at least a pigment, water, an organic solvent having a boiling point equal to or higher than that of water, and a binder resin, a solvent of β-alkoxy propionamides being used as the water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point equal to or higher than that of water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
