This temperature control system of a vehicle-mounted battery is provided with: a battery housing vessel that houses the vehicle-mounted battery; a heat storage agent (22) that is in the battery housing vessel and that can exchange heat with the battery; a heat storage agent temperature adjustment device that adjusts the temperature of the heat storage agent by exchanging heat between the heat storage agent and a first refrigerant; a heat storage agent temperature detector that detects the temperature of the heat storage agent; a heat pump air conditioning device that generates air conditioned air into a vehicle cabin by circulating a second refrigerant; an intermediate heat exchanging device that exchanges heat between the first refrigerant of the heat storage agent temperature adjustment device and the second refrigerant of the heat pump air conditioning device; and a control device that adjusts the heat storage agent to an appropriate temperature by adjusting the temperature of the first refrigerant by means of the intermediate heat exchanging device and the heat storage agent temperature adjustment device when the temperature of the heat storage agent detected by the heat storage agent temperature detection means has become a predetermined value. |
