PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that warns of an abnormal condition. SOLUTION: In a period when a variable winning device is opened, or in a period other than a period until a predetermined time elapses from when the opened variable wining device is closed, if a specific start-operation detecting means detects a game ball, the game machine determines an abnormal condition. Alternatively, the game machine is controlled to enter at least one of a state where a variable display time of second identification information is shortened, a state where a predetermined display result is liable to be displayed on a second variable display means compared with that in a normal state, and a state where the time period for opening the variable winning device is made longer than that in the normal state.
