PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost operating device with which operations are performed with a light operational load. SOLUTION: When an operator rotates a dial 1, a switch 4 reacts shortly, and that starts a motor, so that a rotor which is an object to be operated is rotated by force generated by the operator rotating the dial 1 and driving force generated by the motor. Since the driving force generated by the motor is added, a lighter operational load is needed and less force needs to be generated by the operator. In addition, the cost of an operating device in this invention can be reduced since the operating device does not need costly electronic control units in order to start the motor, like conventional electric operating devices do.
