The invention relates to a rail vehicle having a sound-insulated and vibration-insulated room-within-a-room cab (1), comprising a railcar body (2) which includes a railcar body floor (3), railcar body lateral walls (4a, 4b) and a railcar body ceiling (5), and a cab (1) enclosed by the railcar body, which includes cab lateral walls (8a, 8b), a cab ceiling (9) and a rigid cab floor well (6) comprising a floor part (7) and lateral parts (11, 12). The cab (1) is mounted on one or more spring elements (10) arranged between the floor well (6) and the railcar body floor (3). The invention also relates to a rail vehicle combination that has such a rail vehicle and to a method for sound and vibration insulation of a cab of a rail vehicle. |
