PURPOSE: A preparation method for an animal model of Achilles tendinopathy and an animal model prepared by the same method are provided to resemble the mechanism of human Achilles tendinopathy more closely compared with the current animal models, to raise the induction rate of chronic tendinopathy to nearly 100%, and to reduce the time spent in inducing chronic tendinopathy. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method for an animal model of Achilles tendinopathy comprises the steps of: inducing acute inflammation by damaging an Achilles' tendon; and preventing the Achilles' tendon from being cured by cage activity or forcible activity. The acute inflammation is induced by perforating the Achilles' tendon with an injector after palpating the Achilles' tendon. The acute inflammation is induced by partially or wholly exciding the Achilles' tendon after palpating the Achilles' tendon. |
