One or more electric conductors are housed in channels in a non-conductive cover, each channel having a longitudinal slot to allow the passage of a current collector, the slot being bordered by flexible lip portions which normally assume a closed position except in the immediate vicinity of the current collector, which opens the lips as it passes along the conductors. Three conductors 10 may be enclosed within a cover incorporating two channels 11, 12 along which collectors 13, 14 may slide. Each channel has a slot bounded by lips 15, 16 reinforced by wires 17, 18. The whole cover may be made of resilient material such as rubber, or may be rigid except for the lips 15, 16. |
