A multi-broadcasting system and method are provided to multiplex several programs transmitted through one channel frequency band into one integrated program and transmit the integrated program. A transmitter generates a multi-broadcast signal that images, speech signals, and additional information about a plurality of programs are multiplexed into one integrated program, and transmits the generated multi-broadcast signal to one channel. An image display device(200) receives the multi-broadcast signal transmitted through the transmitter and displays the plurality of programs based on the additional information included in the received multi-broadcast signal on a screen. |
