A lighting control system which operates multi-dimming control and a multi-dimming control method are disclosed. The lighting control system comprises: a lamp controller which transmits a dimming control signal for each ID of the receiving circuits and synchronous signals, by receiving a dimming control input signal at least once during a transmission period set through AC power control lines such as AC power lines; and a receiving circuit dimming a DC lamp which is driven by the power of the AC power lines in response to the corresponding dimming control signal matched to the synchronous signals and connected to the lamp controller through the AC power control lines.
