A USB flash drive 5 includes a body portion 10 and a cover 20. The cover has an attachment means 25 and the body has an attachment means 35. The body 10 is releasably connected to the cover 20. The connection means includes a magnet (e.g. neodymium fig 2, 80). The USB flash drive may be used as a breakaway clip on a lanyard (claimed minus the attachment means). Alternatively a lanyard may include USB flash drive breakaway clip in which the cover is releasably connected by other means (e.g. ball and socket) such that the cover releases under a force of 3 to 10 N. |
