PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor that facilitates internal cooling and routing of conducting wires. SOLUTION: A rotary motor includes: a shaft 12; a rotor 15 that has rotor teeth 16 and is fixed to the shaft 12; a stator 17 that includes a bypass core 22 that extends along an axial direction of the shaft 12; and field poles 26, each of which connects the shaft 12 and the bypass core 22 magnetically and around each of which a field coil 29 is wound. Each of the field poles 26 has a plurality of arms 27b that form a magnetic path together with the shaft 12, the rotor teeth 16, and the bypass core 22 when the field coil 29 is energized.
