There is provided a reel including: a substantially cylindrical bottomed reel hub, around an outer peripheral surface of which a recording tape can be wound; a reel gear that is formed at a bottom section of the reel hub and is configured to mesh with a drive gear of a winding device that winds the recording tape around the reel hub; and a stationary portion that is formed at the bottom section of the reel hub and is configured to be fixed by a fastener to a fastening portion formed at a rotating member of a drive device. |
