Dimmable control device with internal dimming characteristic curve

The device has a flash memory for storage of programmable conversion of external dimming values, where the device converts the external dimming values into internal dimming values in a programmed manner. The external dimming values are guided into the device using an interface. Outputs are provided for controlling illuminants of different colors based on the internal dimming values. The internal dimming values have higher resolution than the external dimming values. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of compensation of tolerances of LEDs controlled by an operating device (2) a method for configuration of an operating device.
