<p>Provided is a device for activating a security function for a chatting region. The device includes: a display part for presenting a chatting region provided with the chatting texts of multiple users in the display of a device; a signal input part for receiving through a user interface a security request signal for requesting the activation of the security function and a selection signal for a non-security region in the presented chatting region; and a security function control part for presenting the non-security region of the presented chatting region differently from the security region.</p> |
