The present invention relates to an etchant for a texturing silicon substrate including a compound with a hydroxy group and water glass and a method for manufacturing a solar cell including a step of texturing a silicon substrate. According to the etchant for a texturing silicon substrate and a method for manufacturing a solar cell using the same of the present invention, the reflectivity of a silicon substrate can be reduced with small amount of etching by uniformly forming small pyramids on the surface of the silicon substrate and the conversion efficiency of a solar cell can be improved by maximizing a passivation effect. |
