[Also in Group XXXV] So that fractured cables of the motor 1 of a hand tool may be easily replaced, the casing 2 has a recess 10 receiving a removable block 12 which is retained by a cover 22 for the recess, sleeveterminals 15, 15<SP>1</SP> of the block being connected to the motor leads 17<SP>1</SP>, 18<SP>11</SP> and to supply leads 19, 20. The recess wall and cover 22 jointly are formed to provide an aperture to admit a flexible sleeve 24 on the supply cable 21, thereby preventing the latter being forcibly removed. An earthing terminal 40 is provided.</p> |
