PURPOSE: A windshield display device for road guidance information and a method thereof are provided to allow a driver to accurately recognize a road connected to a destination by mapping road guidance information of a car navigator with an actual road based on the position of the eyes of the driver and displaying the mapped information on the windshield of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A windshield display device for road guidance information comprises a navigation interlocking unit (10), a front image recognition unit (20), an eye position detecting unit (30), a control unit (40), and a windshield display unit (50). The navigation interlocking unit is interlocked with a navigation system of a vehicle and obtains the road guidance information to a destination which is set up by the driver. The front image recognition unit recognizes the end position of a road and an inside lane in a front road image. The eye position detecting unit detects the position of the eyes in an image of a driver's face. The control unit controls the windshield display unit to display the road guidance information mapped with the actual road based on the position of the eyes of the driver detected by the eye position detecting unit. The windshield display unit displays the road guidance information by mapping the same with the actual road according to the control of the control unit.
