<p>Disclosed are an apparatus, method, and system of data transmission in a vehicular ad-hoc network. The method of data transmission via cooperative communications or direct communications in a vehicular ad-hoc network according to the present invention comprises: an information reception step of receiving nearby vehicular terminal information from at least one nearby vehicular terminal existing in the network; a determination step of determining whether or not to perform a cooperative communication by comparing time of data transmission via the cooperative communication with time of data transmission via a direct communication based on the nearby vehicular terminal information; a channel reservation step of reserving a channel to transmit data and time to occupy the channel according to a result of the determination whether or not to perform the cooperative communication; and a transmission step of transmitting the data to a relay terminal or a receiving terminal via the cooperative communication or the direct communication according to the result of the determination whether or not to perform the cooperative communication. Therefore, it is possible to mitigate performance degradation of the entire system caused by an increase of channel occupying time of terminals with low transmission rates.</p> |
