A reception device includes: a reception unit which receives transmission data from an imaging device, the imaging device performing imaging processing at prescribed intervals, generating image data for each frame or field, packetizes the image data to create the transmission data, and performing transmission processing of transmitting the transmission data; a display processing unit which performs display processing of generating a display signal for display from the transmission data; a measurement unit which extracts a specific packet from the transmission data and measures reception timing of the specific packet multiple times; and a processing unit which performs phase adjustment processing of the display signal using a result of measurement by the measurement unit. |
