<p>An electrical plug lock 1 for use with any electrical equipment or appliance or device that has a power cord/cable 5 and an attached electrical plug 7, comprising of a two part hinged housing 3a/b, a locking mechanism 8 and a key 2 to interact and engage with the locking mechanism. The housing inside space is dimensioned and shaped to receive an electrical plug. The locking mechanism will preferably be located opposite the hinged portion of the housing. The locking device will also preferably consist of a two latch mechanism that is to be engaged with a double portioned key, wherein the key will preferably have a hexagonal cross section and have differing widths which complement the corresponding apertures in the latches.</p> |
