The mechanism has a connection piece comprising elastic elements, where one of the elements is an elastic arm (30) forming bearings i.e. cylindrical faces, with a rigid central body of the connection piece. A winding staff includes parts (8, 9) having an end carrying pinions (13, 17). The element includes a locking extension terminated by a hook (36) cooperating with a locking formation (37) of a body of the piece. The elements are blocked in service position to prevent separation of the elements from the body when the hook is engaged in the locking formation.
