The present invention relates to a water-cooled inverter system including: an inverter which supplies an output electric power to a load by converting an alternating current voltage into a direct current voltage; a cooler which cools down the inverter by supplying cooling water to the inverter; a detection unit which measures any one among the input electric power of the inverter, the output electric power of the inverter, the water quantity of the cooling water, the supply temperature of the cooling water supplied from the cooler to the inverter, the return temperature of the cooling water recollected from the inverter to the cooler, and the current consumption of the cooler; and a control unit which controls the supply temperature according to the change quantity of total power consumption which is a sum of the change quantity of the input electric power or the electric power loss of the inverter and the power consumption of the cooler. According to the present invention, electrical efficiency of the water-cooled inverter system is optimized.
