The present invention relates to a system for controlling a video conference, a method of controlling the same and a recording medium having a program recorded therein to execute the method for controlling the same. The method of controlling the system for controlling the video conference by interworking with a database for the video conference includes the steps of determining an agent terminal corresponding to a meeting schedule when the meeting schedule is registered in the database for the video conference; determining a connection state with the agent terminal through a communication trial with the determined agent terminal; and generating a notification signal if the connection state with the determined agent terminal is abnormal.
