The invention relates to a refrigerator. The invention aims at, with regard to a refrigerator with a valve (a heat dissipation control mechanism), providing a refrigerator advantaged by inhibition of reduction of effective volume and good assembly operation. In the refrigerator provided with a heat insulation box body, a compressor, a first heat dissipation mechanism, a pressure reduction mechanism, and a cooling mechanism, the compressor is disposed in a compressor receiving chamber disposed at the external of the heat insulation refrigerator body, a first refrigerant flow channel going through the first heat dissipation mechanism, a second refrigerant flow channel passing by the first heat dissipation mechanism, and a heat dissipation control mechanism controlling refrigerant amount in the first and second refrigerant flow channel are provided, and the heat dissipation control mechanism is configured in the compressor receiving chamber in a state of being supported by a support mechanism. |
