PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive simple pocket chair in which the moving and carrying are easy, and which is lightweight. SOLUTION: The simple portable chair is characterized as follows. In a simple portable chair (stool) formed of a foaming resin to which a binding string 2 of rubber elasticity is attached, a ribbed tube which has a through-hole 3 is laid in the portable chair, and the binding string 2 is inserted and attached in the ribbed tube; on the side of the portable chair, recessed grooves are prepared in the symmetrical positions, the opening arrangement of one through-hole open end of the ribbed tube is carried out in the recessed groove; in the bottom of the portable chair, the bottom face is divided into a substantially symmetrical shape, and a recessed groove is prepared so that two or more projecting plane parts may be formed, and further a recessed part for connecting for carrying out the connecting unification with a lower spare chair is included.
