The present invention relates to a wideband variable band width channel filter and a filtering method thereof, which can realize a wideband variable bandwidth channel filter which is impossible to be realized with ASIC, FPGA, or SoC having limited resources in a conventional technique, by an inexpensive FPGA. In addition, the conventional digital filter design technology cannot practically design and realize a decimator which satisfies -90dB of a blocking band vary a bandwidth in a 1Hz unit. However, in the present invention, disclosed are 1) a method of reducing the coefficients of a filter to be saved by dynamically generating the coefficients of the filter when an interpolator is realized, 2) a method of further reducing the coefficients of the filter through a combination of the interpolator, and 3) a method of designing and realizing a decimator which can vary a bandwidth in a 1Hz unit using the combination of the above-mentioned methods. According to the present invention, provided is an effective method of reducing the complexity of hardware, improving processing speed, and reducing power consumption. |
