The substituted phenylamidine has general formula (I). The compound having general formula (I), is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for producing a substituted phenylamidine; (2) a method for combating unwanted microorganisms, which involves applying substituted phenylamidine to the microorganisms or the habitat; and (3) a method for the protection of seeds from unwanted microorganisms, which involves treating of seeds with a substituted phenylamidine.
