The present invention relates to a pump unit for a brake system. A conventional pump unit for the brake system has a problem in that since the structure thereof is complicated, it is hard to assemble the pump unit, and since each component is hard to be compatible with other components, manufacturing costs are increased. In the pump unit for the brake system according to the present invention, a piston is configured to be divided into a low-pressure piston and a high-pressure piston, an inlet valve for adjusting the flow of a brake fluid by oil pressure is provided with a sealing portion, thereby resiliently supporting one end of a valve spring of the inlet valve, and resiliently supporting one end of the piston spring. Therefore, the structure of the pump unit is simplified, and is easily assembled. Since the low-pressure piston, the high-pressure piston or the sealing portion is manufactured by injection molding, the high-pressure piston and the sealing portion, or only the sealing portion can be selectively replaced, thereby lowering the manufacturing costs and easily carrying out maintenance. |
