PURPOSE: Continuous range query processing method for mobile peer search in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network environment is provided to obtain an accurate result for a query by reducing overlapped messages based on total dominant pruning (TDP) and distributing all peers capable of affecting a query result. CONSTITUTION: A query peer distributes a query and a general peer receiving the distributed query judges whether a candidate peer capable of processing query or not. If the general peer is judged as the candidate peer, the query is processed and the query result is updated. When the query is received, the general peer judges whether the query is transmitted to neighboring peers or not (S205). If the query must be transmitted to the neighboring peers, the general peer transmits the query to the neighboring peers (S209).
