The present invention relates to an apparatus for modeling using a network model and a modeling method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for modeling using a network model includes a network model generating unit which creates a network model estimating the quality index of an object using a knowledge network and a neural network to which a plurality of main process parameters for the object are inputted; and an optimizing unit which optimizes the created network model using a genetic algorithm. Accordingly, mechanical action characteristics for the object can be combined with the knowledge network and the neural network, and the optimized network model can be created using the genetic algorithm, thereby reducing defects in the manufacture of the object. |
