The present invention relates to a java obfuscation method using statement merging, and more particularly, to new obfuscation method which allows a study of a side effect to be applied to an obfuscation field. In more detail, the java obfuscation method is an obfuscation scheme that uses a side effect generated in a process of merging at least two statements. The java obfuscation method finds out program patterns, which may be converted into a side effect, in an original program and converts the program patterns into the side effect to attempt to obfuscate the original program. When the side effect is artificially made, a size of the program may be reduced due to a significant expression as well as the obfuscation merit of deteriorating program intelligibility. |
