The present invention relates to a gas scrubber for purifying toxic waste gas. In more detail, the gas scrubber includes: a burning chamber having a combustion chamber so that the burning chamber is surrounded by a heating member provided in a case and heated by the heating member; a waste gas inlet port installed in at a lower portion of the case to make the waste gas introduced into the combustion chamber; an air supply part installed at an upper portion of the case so that air under a predetermined pressure is supplied to the combustion chamber; a preheating chamber protruding with a predetermined space around an inner part of the combustion chamber, provided in a protruding front surface thereof with an exhaust port, and having a lower portion connected with the waste gas inlet port; and a diffusion member located at the lower portion of the air supply part to diffuse air supplied from the air supply part into the combustion chamber, so that the air is slowly supplied. According to the present invention, the preheating chamber is provided in the combustion chamber of the gas scrubber, so that the combustion chamber can be prevented from being deformed due to the thermal expansion. Even if a great amount of powders are contained in the waste gas, the powders can be additionally collected and discharged. In addition, the waste gas in the combustion chamber can be completely combusted as the air supplied into the combustion chamber is diffused and slowly supplied. |
