摘要 Techniques are described herein that are capable of spectrally shaping audio signal(s) for audio mixing. Spectrally shaping an audio signal means modifying a frequency spectrum of the audio signal. A frequency spectrum of an audio signal is a representation of the audio signal in the frequency domain. For instance, a frequency spectrum may be represented using multiple frequency bands. The frequency spectrum may be modified by modifying characteristic(s) (e.g., magnitude, phase, etc.) one or more of the frequency bands.

A method comprising: receiving a first audio signal that includes a plurality of portions that corresponds to a plurality of respective frequency bands; receiving a second audio signal; determining that the second audio signal corresponds to a subset of the plurality of frequency bands, the subset including fewer than all of the plurality of frequency bands; identifying a subset of the plurality of portions of the first audio signal that corresponds to the subset of the plurality of frequency bands; reducing a magnitude of the subset of the plurality of portions with respect to portions of the first audio signal that are not included in the subset of the plurality of portions, using at least one processor, based on the second audio signal corresponding to the subset of the plurality of frequency bands; and mixing the first audio signal and the second audio signal to provide a mixed audio signal in response to reducing the magnitude of the subset of the plurality of portions.
