The present invention relates to an apparatus for binding sleepers on a gravel ballast track and a method for reinforcing a track ballast structure, using the same, which are provided to reinforce the sleepers disposed on the gravel ballast track by binding the sleepers in the direction of running trains, thereby distributing load, which is delivered from the trains to the sleepers, to neighboring sleepers and therefore, to reduce load onto each sleeper, thereby improving and uprating the properties of the gravel ballast track. The apparatus comprises: a reinforcing beam (10) extended longitudinally; multiple binding strip units which are integrated with each other on the bottom of the reinforcing beam (10) and spaced apart from each other, and which wrap around the upper side and both longitudinal sides of each sleeper and bind the sleepers (100), wherein the apparatus is placed on and combined with neighboring sleepers (100). The method is provided to have the apparatus mounted on the sleepers and to reinforce the track ballast structure. |
