The present invention relates to a height adjusting device including upper and lower links vertically arranged in parallel with each other, a first hinge bracket to which one ends of the upper and lower links are installed to be able to rotate, and a second hinge bracket to which opposite ends of the upper and lower links are installed to be able to rotate, and to an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus having the same. The height adjusting device includes a driving motor; a rotation member rotating in a forward or reverse direction by the driving motor; a transferring member moving in a forward or reverse direction according to a rotation direction of the rotation member coupled to the rotation member using a screw; and a driving link having one end installed to a front end of the transferring member to be able to rotate and an opposite end installed to a second hinge bracket to be able to rotate. Thus, the second hinge bracket moves up and down as the driving link rotates so that a gap between the upper and lower links may be minimized without rotating the driving motor. |
