The invention relates to packaging machinery, namely – to the field, the scope of which is associated with the manufacture of equipment for producing cartons for packaging various products. A device for folding cardboard developments comprises a frame, a fixed support plate with suction cups for holding the cardboard developments, a toothed rack, left and right gear wheels that engage a toothed rack and have a rigid connection with right and left levers respectively, wherein to these levers folding rollers are pivotally attached, and a drive for moving the levers with rollers. The toothed rack is fixedly mounted on the frame along side of the support plate, and the gear wheels are mounted on the axles of the left and right sliders that are moved in horizontal guides. A drive to move the gear wheels and levers with cantilever attached rollers is left and right pneumatic cylinders, whose rods are connected to the sliders through compression springs for reciprocating horizontal movement in the opposite direction. The invention makes it possible to simplify the design of the drive and improve the operation of folding and gluing. |
