The present invention relates to multi-tasking operating. Particularly, disclosed are a multi-tasking operating method and a construction of a terminal supporting the same, wherein the method comprises a step where a specific function execution screen among a plurality of function execution screens is displayed on the top of a display part; a touch event receiving step of receiving a touch event for selecting a function execution screen other than the specific function execution screen; and a display step where a layer separation object for supporting activation of a function selection mode according to reception of the touch event and selection of other function execution screen is displayed together with the specific function execution screen on the display part.
