A slotted waveguide antenna relates to radio engineering, specifically to antennas and SHF devices and can be used as a part of antenna arrays or mirror antennas and as independent radiators. The antenna is made as a length of a rectangular waveguide; a long thing slot is cut along the middle of upper wide wall. A steel pin is located perpendicular to the long thing slot. The steel pin is made as a truncated pyramid having cross-section less than area of long thing slot. A dielectric rectangular plate is located perpendicular to the surface of waveguide length narrow wall, which located at a distance of (0.45-0.5) × b from the long thin slot, where b –height of the narrow wall of the rectangular waveguide length. The technical result is significant improvement of matching in frequency band, increase of uniformity of radiated power and simplification of antenna turning. |
