The present invention relates to a technology of improving a quality of a call or a message communication based on a virtual phone number. According to an aspect of the present invention, the method for a virtual phone number based communication performed in a user terminal includes the steps of: (a) storing combination information in which certain identification information is combined with counterpart information when call/message with a virtual phone number for incoming call/message are received from a counterpart; (b) sending a call including the virtual phone number as sender information and the combination information or the counterpart information as receiver information when the call is sent based on the stored combination information; (c) receiving the virtual phone number from a communication network to be stored in response to a register of terminal information; (d) displaying the combination information or the counterpart information as the sender information and the virtual phone number as the receiver information when the call/message with a virtual phone number for incoming call/message are received; (e) displaying the virtual phone number as the sender information and the combination information or the counterpart information as the receiver information when the call/message are sent based on the stored combination information; and (f) sending a message including an original phone number as the sender information and the combination information as the receiver information when the message is sent based on the stored combination information. |
