Provided are an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a furniture member, wherein the method comprises as follows: a press part applies pressure to compression-mold the raw material of the furniture member by a metal plate for molding; a manual paint spreading part spreads manual paint on the compression-molded raw material of the furniture member; a metal foil working part works a metal foil on the spread manual paint; an adhesive paint spreading part spreads adhesive paint on the coated metal foil; and a coating part coats finish paint on the spread adhesive paint. Therefore, according to the present invention, the method for manufacturing a furniture member is capable of reducing a difference between the colors or the textures of the front and the rear surfaces of furniture; improving a design on the furniture member; and improving the quality of the furniture by reinforcing strength. |
