The purpose of the present invention is to provide a closing apparatus for an air intake and exhaust device of a submarine, which promptly closes the air intake and exhaust device when the submarine begins diving into water. In relation to a closing apparatus for an air intake and exhaust device of a ship, which includes a body of a streamlined shape; a door on the top of the body for a passenger enter or exit; a vertical wing attached in the rear body; a horizontal wing attached on each side of the body to guide the descending of the body into water; an engine to generate a propulsive force; a propulsive apparatus connected to the engine; and a rudder attached in the lower part of the body to adjust the direction of the body, the present invention adds the following: an absorbing pipe which provides air into the engine; a discharging pipe which discharges exhaust after the combustion of the engine; a resistance substrate which operates by the resistance of water when the body dives underwater; and a closing means which closes the absorbing pipe and discharging pipe by the operation of the resistance substrate when the body dives underwater whereas opens the absorbing pipe and discharging pipe when the body comes out of the water.
