The preset invention relates to a liquid crystal display device which includes: a liquid crystal panel; a polarizing panel which is arranged on the top of the liquid crystal panel and linearly polarizes light; a touch panel which is formed on the top of the polarizing panel; a cover glass formed on the top of the touch panel; and a high retardation film which circularly polarizes the light linearly polarized by the polarizing panel, has a phase difference of 8000 nm or greater, and is located to the upper surface of at least one of the polarizing panel, the touch panel, and the cover glass.
