The present invention relates to a control system for a storage battery for a railway vehicle and the railway vehicle and, more specifically, to a control system for a storage battery for a railway vehicle which provides or disconnect power to or from the storage battery in order to set a commercial operation standby state at a railway depot before the railway vehicle is placed in commercial operation; and the railway vehicle adopting the control system. The control system for the storage battery for the railway vehicle according to an embodiment of the invention comprises a depot controller which is installed on the railway depot and wirelessly transmits a precondition control signal; a communications device which receives the precondition control signal, determines whether a storage battery placement condition is satisfied, and outputs a storage battery placement control signal when the condition is satisfied; a storage battery power providing relay which is excited by the storage battery placement control signal and applies a contact point signal; and a communications control unit (CCU) which outputs a precondition placement acknowledgement signal, when the contact point signal of the storage battery power providing relay is applied, and places the storage battery. |
