The method involves activating curative filtering of torque control of an electric machine when a clutching device is controlled at one of its intermediate positions to pass from open position to closed position. The curative filtering is deactivated when the clutching device is controlled from the intermediate position to pass from the closed position to the open position, where the activation of curative filtering includes a progressive activation slope i.e. rising ramp (400A), and the deactivation of curative filtering includes a progressive deactivation slope i.e. descending ramp (400D).
