A driving method of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve the control performance of an engine RPM by making the fluctuation of the engine RPM identical. A driving method of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises: a step of controlling the output of an engine by reflecting the estimated torque generated by the drive of the air conditioner; and a step of maintaining estimated torque calculating and electrical transmission for specific hour after the drive of a compressor(150) for the specific hour when the compressor receives a stop signal. The specific hour is the point when the driving torque of the compressor is zero from a unit(100) of the air conditioner receives the stop signal. The specific hour is 0.25 second. |
