The present invention relates to a power transmitting apparatus, a power receiving apparatus, and a method thereof. The present invention relates to a power transmitting apparatus which transmits/receives power which a transmitting apparatus or a receiving apparatus set in transmitting/receiving power by wire or wireless between apparatuses, a power receiving apparatus, and a method thereof. The power transmitting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a power transmitting part which transmits the power of a battery to the power receiving apparatus, a checking part which checks at least one among the charge amount of the battery, the amount of power transmitted, the amount of power received by the power receiving apparatus, and the charge amount of the power receiving apparatus, and a control part which controls the transmission/reception of the power by comparing the checked result with a predetermined threshold value. |
